The Vital Stretch • Pickleball & Tennis Mobility Program

See What’s Quietly
Limiting Your Game.

Pickleball and tennis ask more of your body than you think. Our Vital Signs® 3D body-mapping shows you exactly where your mobility is helping your game—and where it’s quietly holding you back. It starts with a complimentary 25-minute assessment.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America.

It’s also producing one of the fastest growing lists of injuries—and most of them trace back to the same thing.

Watch any rec game for two minutes and you’ll see it.

Someone reaches down for a low ball at the kitchen line. They bend at the waist, snap their back into the shot, smack it up, and pop back up. They do it again. And again. Twenty, thirty, fifty times a match. It’s not a swing—it’s a hinge from the back.

Here’s the problem. Bending down properly—hinging at your hips, loading your legs, keeping your spine neutral—requires real range of motion in your hips and ankles, and real strength to hold the position. Most adults don’t have either. So the body does the only thing it can: it folds at the lower back instead.

That works fine for the first dozen reps. By rep fifty, your back is screaming. By the end of the season, you’re icing it after every match. By next year, you might be benched.

That’s exactly why we built the Paddle Sports Mobility Program at The Vital Stretch.

How mobile are you, really? Most players have never measured it. The ones who do—and train it—keep climbing the DUPR ladder while everyone else plateaus.

Your Game, In A Way You’ve Never Seen It

Most players have no idea what’s actually limiting them on the court. We show you—with real data.

Our Vital Signs® 3D body-mapping captures how you move—hips, ankles, thoracic spine, shoulders—and turns it into a clear picture of where your mobility helps your game, and where it’s quietly costing you. No guessing. Just your numbers.

What Changes When You Move Better

Bend From Your Legs. Not Your Back.

When your body has the mobility and strength it actually needs, the soreness fades—and the game gets a whole lot better.

A Back That Lasts

Stop hinging from your lumbar spine on every dink and drop shot. Move from your hips the way your body was built to—and feel the difference the next morning.

Hip & Ankle Range

The mobility you need to load a real athletic stance, reach low balls without compensating, and split-step like you mean it.

Stronger Shoulders

Serves, overheads, and put-aways ask a lot of your rotator cuff. Restore the range and stability your shoulder needs to hold up to a full season.

Play Longer. Feel Fresher.

Walk off the court after three games still feeling fresh—and wake up the next morning ready to play again.

Why The Vital Stretch

This Isn’t Yoga. It Isn’t Massage. It’s Something Better.

Our clinically developed method was built by a physical therapist and chiropractor. Here’s what makes it different.

Clinically Developed Method

The Vital Stretch Method® is science-backed and delivered by practitioners with triple-tiered training.

Zero Sweat Required

You lie back and relax. Your practitioner does the work. Assisted stretching that goes far beyond what you can do on your own.

3D Movement Technology

Our Vital Signs® Technology measures your progress objectively, so you can see real improvements—not just feel them.

If your hips and ankles can’t bend, your back will. That’s how pickleball injuries start—and exactly what this program was built to address.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Vital Stretch Practitioner® takes you through a series of gentle movements to evaluate your mobility from head to toe. We look closely at the areas paddle sports demand the most—hip rotation, ankle range, thoracic mobility, shoulder stability—and identify where your body is compensating. You’ll walk out knowing exactly which restrictions are putting you at risk and what we can do about them.

That pattern is exactly what this program was built around. Post-match back soreness in pickleball and tennis is rarely a back problem—it’s a hip and ankle problem. When you can’t bend properly at the hips and load your legs, your lumbar spine takes the punishment instead. We work on restoring the mobility your back is begging you to give it.

Not at all—that’s the whole point. We meet your body exactly where it is. Whether you can barely touch your knees or you’re already fairly limber, your program is built around your current mobility level and how you actually move on the court.

Absolutely. Tennis demands even more from your shoulders, hips, and rotational mobility than pickleball does. The same restrictions that put pickleball players on the injury list—tight hips, limited thoracic rotation, locked-up shoulders—hit tennis players just as hard. Your program is built around your sport and your body.

Three big differences. First, it’s fully assisted—you lie back and relax while your practitioner does the work, which allows us to take your muscles further than you can on your own. Second, it’s clinically developed by a physical therapist and chiropractor, not a generic stretch routine. Third, every session is customized to your body and your restrictions—not a one-size-fits-all class.

Comfortable, athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Think gym clothes or athleisure. No need to change shoes—sessions are done without them.

Yes, 100%. The 25-minute movement assessment is on us. No strings, no obligation. The only thing you risk is finding out which restrictions are quietly setting you up for an injury.
